Supplied with two 1 hour life rechargeable batteries What is DLP? DLP stands for Digital Light Processing which was developed by Texas Instruments. It basically uses a microchip consisting of millions of switchable mirrors which build the image. It is a far simpler & more robust reliable design than LCD technology. Advantages are a high contrast ratio, rich vibrant natural colours, pin sharp images unaffected by heat, humidity or vibration. Projectors using DLP technology will be smaller, lighter, generate less heat and will ultimately be quieter as they require less cooling.
