What is DLP?
DLP stands for Digital Light Processing which was developed by Texas Instruments. It basically uses a microchip consisting of millions of switchable mirrors which build the image. It is a far simpler & more robust reliable design than LCD technology. Advantages are a high contrast ratio, rich vibrant natural colours, pin sharp images unaffected by heat, humidity or vibration.
